Evaporative Demand Drought Index (EDDI) Seasonal Projections
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), Western Regional Climate Center
This tool shows one-month projections for the Evaporative Demand Drought Index (EDDI), an experimental drought monitoring and early warning guidance tool. EDDI examines how anomalous the atmospheric evaporative demand (E0; also known as "the thirst of the atmosphere") is for a given location and across a time period of interest.
