State pages highlight U.S. Drought Monitor data, updated weekly. These include maps; statistics quantifying current drought conditions, with comparisons to last week, three months and one year ago, as well as since the start of the calendar year; time line charts depicting the progression of drought over the past five years; and pie charts showing current proportions of drought status. Data is available in tables, and the information can be downloaded in JSON, XML and image formats.
State pages also include listings of upcoming and recent drought-related webinars and events.
Most state pages include links (when available) to state drought plans, state climatologist’s offices, Cooperative Extension offices, National Weather Service Forecast Offices, and other related agencies and resources.
