Arizona & New Mexico Monsoon Recap and Winter Drought Outlook

Following a poor monsoon, much of the Southwest U.S. is going into winter with a rainfall deficit. This webinar will look at some of the impacts of the current drought across Arizona and New Mexico, including tribal lands, and review the seasonal outlook for the upcoming winter. The presenters will include Dave DuBois from the New Mexico State Climate Center, Mike Crimmins from the Department of Environmental Science at the University of Arizona, and Mike Halpert, Deputy Director of the Climate Prediction Center (CPC).
