The U.S. Soil Moisture Networks Portal on drought.gov replaces NationalSoilMoisture.com, an innovative website that provided daily soil moisture products via a hybrid approach with in situ and remotely sensed soil moisture data. Like NationalSoilMoisture.com, the U.S. Soil Moisture Networks Portal is a resource of the National Coordinated Soil Moisture Monitoring Network (NCSMMN), a partnered effort to integrate soil moisture data from around the country and capitalize on its transformative potential for a wide range of applications across sectors of the economy.
