Dr. Zachary Holden of the U.S. Forest Service will present on the potential of using soil moisture-related variables to improve predictions of wildfire spread and growth in the Northern Rocky Mountains. Dr. Brian Ebel will present on how soil moisture data can be used to track fire recovery and hydrologic response on the landscape, post-wildfire.
