Northeast DEWS Drought Status Updates

During the 2020 Northeast drought, the NIDIS communications team and the Northeast DEWS team published weekly updates on drought impacts and forecast outlooks. The updates featured state response activities and served as a platform for regional awareness.
In 2021 and 2022, update frequency varied with the intensity of drought and its geographic coverage of the region. Updates are archived and available on Drought.gov (October 2020 to present).
