Quarterly Climate Impacts and Outlook for the Pacific Region for June–August 2026. Dated September 2026.

Above-normal precipitation was observed across areas of the U.S.–Affiliated Pacific Islands, including Guam, much of the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, as well as the Hawaiian Islands. Drier-than-normal conditions prevailed in the Republic of Palau and American Samoa.

NOAA’s Regional Climate Services Program creates these Climate Outlooks to inform the public about recent climate impacts within their respective regions. Each regional report contains easy-to-understand language, and anyone can access them through the U.S. Drought Portal.
