Quarterly Climate Impacts and Outlook for the Southeast and Caribbean Region for June–August 2026. Dated September 2026.

Temperatures were above average across most of the Southeast, particularly across the Florida Peninsula, southern Georgia, and portions of the Carolinas and Virginia, where some locations were more than 3 degrees F above average. Precipitation was mostly below average across the Southeast, particularly across the Florida Peninsula and eastern portions of Georgia and the Carolinas, with some locations running more than 10 inches below average, or less than 50% of normal.
