The October Drought & Climate Outlook Webinar will provide drought and climate updates, the outlook, and the impact of El Niño on Southern California.

The California-Nevada Drought Early Warning System October 2026 Drought & Climate Outlook Webinar is part of a series of regular drought and climate outlook webinars designed to provide stakeholders and other interested parties in the region with timely information on current drought status and impacts, as well as a preview of current and developing climatic events (e.g., El Niño and La Niña).

This webinar is hosted by NOAA's National Integrated Drought Information System, in partnership with the California Nevada Adaptation Program (CNAP), a NOAA RISA team. NIDIS is an interagency program within the Climate Program Office, which is part of NOAA's Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research.
