The Colorado and New Mexico portions of the Rio Grande Basin experienced exceptional drought over the past 18 months. The winter of 2018-2019 has seen a return of average to above-average snowfall in the upper basin. Will this snowpack translate into all-important run-off in the Rio Grande Basin?
